Almotamar Net - The AIDS Combating Unit at the High Population Council held on Saturday the 1st session of debate on AIDA disease. Parties, parliamentarians, civil society organizations and local councils participated in the debate.
In the opening of the session, the deputy of health ministry Majed al-Junaied assured the importance of establishing a activity partnership with all bodies to fight the spread of AIDS disease and enhance the social awareness of the disease dangers.
Deputy of Religious Endowment & Islamic Affairs ministry Yahya Ahmed al-Najar briefed that the Islamic view on AIDS patients doesn't stripping them from any political or socialist rights.
The executive director of AIDS Combating Unit Abdullah Abdul-Karim al-Arashi delivered a speech wished in it more success in this function. He said that the last statistics briefed that there are 1714 cases of AIDS disease in Yemen.
